Claimant says:
"This company called me today from what appeared to be a "spoofed" number - my Caller ID showed: Out of Area, 828-974-3716. The caller was one of those loathsome boiler rooms with an operator pushing buttons to make it appear that a real person with a local NC accent was calling on behalf of the National Police Association, Inc. This "company" is registered as a fundraiser according to the always-awesome Washington Office of the Secretary of State.

Again, according to the WA Secretary of State:

"According to the financial information shown at left, this organization devoted 2% of its total expenses to program services during the year reported."

This, in my opinion, is not a charity, it is a scum-sucking boiler room filled to the brim with leeches. Just my opinion. If they ever call me again they will hear the dulcet tones of a police whistle. It is an embarrassment that this kind of company can be called a "non-profit."
