Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"In July had the owner (Leon Irizarry) (309)737-9813 Fix a ceiling leak in my livingroom. It still leaks and even though we agreed upon an amount of money, he later told me he needed an extra 75.00 from me due to extra work. At the same time, he installed a new ceiling fan in my living room that was not wired correctly and doesn't work correctly. After inspections from licensed personnel, was made aware that this was also a safety hazzard, not up to code and damaged the original wiring that he tapped into (now needs to be totally rewired). I'm having an electrician have to fix and to fully rewire the original wiring that was there and he messed up as well as get the fan correct, safe and up to standards. For the ceiling, I'm having a roofer take care of and then will have to fix entire affected area. Have commuinicated with owner things were'nt correct and I wanted money back. Also mentioned violations and that I would report him if not fixed. He was rude and originally offered to fix but never showed. When I followed up I reiterated my situation and demanded refund. He was rude and hung up on me repeatedly."
