Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"Greetings,

My family was celebrating my brothers 63rd birthday a party of 13 on Sunday January 17, 2016. We arrived at 12:45pm at Campo Verde Restaurant, 2918 W Pioneer Parkway, Arlington, Tx 76013. Phone 817-275-7003 President James Williams.
Being a Sunday and at 12:45pm I understand how busy a restaurant can be.
However the Manager on duty Reuben kept coming by and saying give us 5 more minutes. That went on until 1:45pm until we were finally seated. I had noticed at 1:15pm as I went to the rest room that there were several tables empty that would have accommodated our party.
All of this was not the issue I am reporting I went up to the Manager Reuben and questioned him on the empty tables that we could have been seated at Reuben proceeded to yell at me in the cashier area and tell me many cruel and unprofessional things in front of the cashier and most of the restaurant could hear him blow his stack at me. Trying to diffuse the situation I asked for a business card of his boss and asked him to stop yelling at me I would take it up with his boss. Reuben proceeded to follow me all the way thru the restaurant back to my table and yelling all the way at my back as I did not continue speaking to him so he would not have the satisfaction of yelling back at him. Next he went into the kitchen where we were seated near and yelled the situation to his cooking staff where the restaurant again could hear. Then he came to our table and yelled and me again which I simply said I am finished with speaking to you I will talk to your manager. No comp, no apology just an ugly attitude toward my party. We also had children with us the youngest 3 years old the oldest 10.
On Wednesday I called and spoke with the President James Williams and he of course said he would talk to Reuben on Thursday and offered no apology until I asked him what did he plan to do to compensate us. He said after me asking what the compensation was to me as I was the brunt of Rueben's unprovoked rage and he James said well I apologized what do you want?
I asked him to have Reuben please call and apologize to me and he would not take my name or phone number and hung up on a long time patron. I feel abused and will never step foot into Campo Verde ever again. You know our check for a party of 13 was $100.00 plus the added gratuity for a party larger than 8. Now I would like to have the money refunded and an apology.
