"I PURCHASED A KIA RIO IN THE AMOUNT OF $6600 AS IS ON JAN.27 2012. I ASKED THE SELLER FOR A CARFAX AND HE TOLD ME THAT THEY DONT DO CARFAXS ON THEIR VEHICLES UNLESS THE CAR WAS INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT. ON JAN 28 THE NEXT DAY AFTER I PAID CASH FOR THE VEHICLE, THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON. I HAVE HAD PI CALLED THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY OFFERED TO GET IT FIXED, SO I TOOK IT TO THEIR MECHANIC AND EVERY SINCE I HAD THE CAR I HAVE TAKEN THE CAR BACK 4 TIMES. I HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO DRIVE THE CAR FOR A FULL WEEK. I HAVE LOST TIME OFF OF WORK AND THE CAR WILL NOT PASS EMISSIONS. I HAVE TRIED TO TALK TO THE OWNER AND HE GOT UP IN MY FACE AND PRECEEDED TO YELL AT ME, SAYING IF YOU WANTED A CAR WITHOUT PROBLEMS I SHOULD HAVE BROUGHT ME A NEW CAR. SINCE I HAVE BEEN HAVING AN ONGOING ISSUE WITH THE CAR AND UNABLE TO DRIVE IT BECAUSE IT STAYS IN THE SHOP DAYS AT A TIME WHICH I DONT UNDERSTAND BECAUSE IF THESE ARE LICENSED MECHANICS WHY THE CAR KEEPS HAVING THE SAME ISSUE. SO I DECIDED TO PAY FOR A ACRFAX MYSELF AND WHEN I PULLED UP THE CAR RECORDS IT HAD STATED THAT THE VEHICLE HAD INDEED BEEN IN A CAR ACCIDENT 06/26/2007 AND THE ACCIDENT WAS LABELED MODERATE WHICH MEANS THAT DUE TO THE CAUSE OF THE ACCIDENT THE VEHICLE COULD HAVE DAMAGE AND MAY AFFECT THE THE OPERATION OF THE VEHICLE AND/OR ITS PARTS. I BEL;IEVE THAT THE COMPANY HAD VIOLATED THE DECEPTIVE AND UNTRUE ACTS LAW BY SELLING ME A VEHICLE THAT I WAS UNDER THE ASSUMPTION THAT IT HAD NEVER BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT. THE COMPANY TOOK ALL OF MY EARNINGS AND HAVE NO HEART ABOUT THE SITUATION AT ALL. I UNDERSTAND THAT I BOUGHT A VEHICLE AS IS BUT FOR THE VEHICLE TO NEVER BE ABLE TO PASS EMISSIONS AND GO BAD ON ME THE VERY NEXT DAY WHEN I GAVE YOU $6600.00 IN CASH."
