Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"On 2/25/14 About 6:00-7:00 my husband I went to the drive though at northway Burger king. We ordered two sandwiches one fry and two drinks. We gave them my Denali Alaska Visa bank card. They ran my card. And they didn't give it back or the reciept. The total was around 17:00. The person at the drive through didn't seem to know the steps in which to do the order. My husband thought that they had handed the card back. Due to the opening of the window so many times. Once to get the card, once hand out drinks and once
to hand out the food. We didn't notice till the next day 2/26/14 that my card was missing. On 2/27/14
my husband Jack went to Burgerking to ask about my card. He talked to the assistant manager.
He was told that they held my card one day. That they without contacting the lost or stolen
department of my credit union. (Which there is a 24 hour number) They clipped my card. They never gave a envelope with proof it was cut up. When I called I was told that it was my fault that we drove away. Even though they had told my husband that they had just hired 15 new people that didn't know what they are doing. All I wanting was a curtisy meal, for the poor service, and apology for the innconveniance. I had to call lost and stolen
card. I also tried to call corp @1-305-378-3000 They never answer. In this area at different resturants they hold cards in there safe till people come to get them. Or they notify the banks. I thought that they where supose to take proper car of my property. Thanks for your time Sherry M. Roach"
