Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"Back in 2008 we had our first complaint through the BBB and handled the complaint by just whatever it took to make the customer happy. We have been in this same industry around the DFW Metroplex since 1978 with many satisfied clients across the whole Southwest and just as many nationwide since we began servicing the whole US in 2007. We have only have had 7 complaints in 35 years, but the BBB list us a C+. Go see how many , many accredited businesses have with the BBB and carry an A-. Key word Accredited. You see the BBB charges a very large fee for the merchant to be an accredited business sort of like Guido the thug with a shop owners's store front windows in the slum neighborhoods of NYC or Chicago. If a disgruntled customer complains and you don't pay these thugs (BBB) they will write whatever the customers claims. But if you pay these large extortionist fees then these thugs (BBB) charge the consumer $75 to complain. And they claim to be a non-profit organization, yea right someone's pockets are getting full.
We are in the specialty car finance brokerage business, we arrange financing for individuals on classic and exotic cars. Unfortunately for many and for us these loans and leases are very hard to secure for people with past financial issues. Because of the love affair most people have with these automobiles and because of the damage done to many folks' credit ratings during these hard times most face these days, we get bombarded with bad credit applicants. You must have excellent credit to apply as we advertise this in bold statements on our home page and we also have a non-refunable $39 dollar application fee as a bad credit deterrent. It amazes me how 50% of the applicants could not finance a pickle on a hamburger, but still apply. Some just cannot take no as an answer and kick and scream like 3 year olds.

Apartments have been collecting applications fees for decades because for this same purpose. These expensive reports we have to pull on the customers behalf and all the ink and paper and people to manage 100's of applications a day was killing us, so we decided to try the application fee. It turned all wasted time and expenses around immediately. We also have an application process each applicant must go through, agreeing to our terms and conditions before they can apply through our online system. If they do not agree to our terms, conditions and fee discloure they cannot even send in their application for credit reveiw and while applying for said credit they have our terms and conditions, along with our fee disclosure put in front of them several times and they recieve a copy via email of all once they finalize the application process. Basically fool proof by any standards. An over kill, if you will, for the brain dead at least. As the economy grew worse over this time, from late 2007 to present you hear and feel the applicants' frustration with these bad economic times and when you just can't help some of these applicants they get mean and mad. In the beginning you felt sorry for many and your heart went out to most. But as we have gotten closer to the present time many who we cannot help due to their own inflicted abuse upon themselves for over spending and not taking personal responsibilty has grown greater by the day. These people are the ones that will verbally abuse you on a Sunday evening via your cell phone while trying to spend some quality time with your family. We give our clients our cell phone numbers so we can be here to assist them with any questions or professional direction during their search for that perfect buy of an antique automobile. Most of our clients are professional and do not abuse this privilege, but some are just plainly irresposible people who don't care what terms they agreed to and just try to abuse any and all situations. I refuse to pay these extortionist and they are inflicting lies about our company and posting defamation on their website. If the government comes and takes our guns from us who is to protect us from the governement, and in the same situation imposed on merchants by the BBB, who is to protect us from the BBB??? You see the BBB can list all complaints about a merchant and will abuse this method with the place for the merchant to place a rebuttal to the complaint, being judge and jury unless you pay these extortionist. It is tough enough for the small business man to survive much less get abused by non-profit organization, losing your business onuntruthful complaint at a time while they keep growing with financial strengths from the apples stolen from the merchants and consumers, an illegal entity if there ever was one."

  • BBB reclaimed two of our complaints and showed them resolved, one they claim is in our favor, the other that we had been waiting on for over 1 year from them, they had shown un-resolved even though it had been resolved. Both, they had listed as serious against our company. The 3 remaining complaints they have listed as serious and don't seem to want to listen to reasoning from us and seem to refuse to make a test run through our appplication process system. If they would do so they would agree with us that there is absolutely no way an applicant can make it completely through the application process and not have our terms, conditions and fee dislosure placed in font of them 4-5 times and they have to agree to all terms, conditions, and fees before they can even submit their application for credit to us for processing. We will not even get the client's info without them first agreeing to our terms and fees 100%, unless they are blind of course and in that cae they will not qualify for a auto loan, Woulsd not be good to have the blind driving vehicles now would it? They are misleading the public with false information and I want them to change our rating and errase all complaints from idiot complainers. because the facts they have listed are not taking into account without thoroughly investigating our process as we have suggested.
