Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"Charles Schneider is the person filing the complaint, not the target of the complaint. Next, the party I am unhappy with is AT&T. I've belonged to AT&T for many years. Now, I live on the west side of the slope which has our cell tower east of us. I live in a blind spot, and AT&T realized this when they sent us a mini microcell tower free of charge and we had been using it for the last year and half. Recently I joined their family plan, got an extra phone and went completely cellular using my landline number on my new cell phone. Suddenly, before the contract was binding, my cell tower started to deteriorate. Now it's up to me to either join uverse, or buy a new tower for $200. I decided to cancel the contract, and got a new landline from wave broadband. We tried to get my old phone number for the new landline but was told that I didn't have the right account number so I figured I would turn in the phones and close the account, thinking they would then be able to get the old number applied. I am closing the contract, which I had two months remaining on. Wave now tells me that we can't get the old number, less the line is active. I did get the account number but that doesn't seem to matter anymore. I don't want to pay off the contract that has been broken until they release my original number, as I had requested. That is my predicament. Charles Schneider PS Can we get the payment postponed until they release my old number to wave?"
