Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"I signed up for ATT Digital Life a little over a year ago. My system stopped working properly about 5 months ago. It arms without any warning. It won't disarm If I can get it to arm. It has so many bugs it's ridiculous. It says windows are open and doors are open when they are clearly not. It constantly says the camera is offline. Nobody at ATT seems to know what that means. I've called ATT over a dozen times. Usually I'm on the phone for atleast an hour and still nothing gets fixed. I've had 5 technicians out to my house. Each of them was here for atleast 3 hours. One tech told me he would never buy this alarm system. Another tech told me that I was given the wrong equipment but then didn't replace it. Another tech asked me if he could bum a cigarette and I don't smoke. And another took an hour long personal phone call in my house and was walking around checking his hair in my mirrors. Still nothing was ever fixed. I can't get out of the contract unless I pay several hundred dollars. They receive my payment on time every month but I haven't had an alarm for 5 months. I feel totally taken advantage of."
