Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"We took our used RV to ALL RV on 1-4-16, we had two busted roof vents and it was backfiring. We were told they could get us in right away. It started to rain when we got there & I reminded them about the busted roof vents. After 3 days, they called & said our Rv didn't pass emissions, but for an additional $240.00 they could force it through. We had no choice. Our bill was over $1,100 now. When we picked up our unit, I discovered that our bathroom was flooded. They did not install the roof vents right away. I had 2 soaked rugs, ruined kleenx & several rolls of TP. I had a 10 inch tall wastebasket in the bathroom that was two inches from the top filled with rain water. It even ran out in the living room and soaked the carpet. When we started driving away, my husband noticed that the gas gauge was on one-fourth. We had just filled the tank before we took it in and it cost $47.50. We drove 6 miles on the full tank. They also put 118 miles on our RV. I little much for test driving, don't you think? I believe someone working there stole many gallons of our gas. When I called and informed Bobi about the problems we had, she said she didn't know about the flood & said she would give me a $20 in store credit....I don't think so . Very poor relations with the customer, all they see is how far they can reach in your pockets. I wish I would have read all the nasty reviews that I saw on yelp about ALL RV . It looks like they make a practice of ripping people off. They owe us for all of the mistakes they made concerning our RV. There are a couple more issues I had with them but don't have the room to list them. These people need to make changes with the way they conduct business.. I will never go back there again."

    Mrs. Fuller brought in her RV and told us the problems they were having, with backfiring, no power and busted roof vents. It had started to rain when the Fullers arrived, we were told again about the busted roof vents at that time.

    The RV was put under cover and we proceeded to work on the problems.

    While this was all going on I was searching for vents to replace the broken ones. Mrs. Fuller wanted to replace the old vents with metal ones. It was determined that there was no metal cover only plastic one available for her vents. So we ordered them, and installed 2 plastic vents covers the very next day.

    We changed out the wires, plugs, cap, and rotor and this got the engine running well, no more backfiring and better power. We test drove the RV quit a few times to access the problem of the backfiring plus we needed to blow out the carbon buildup in the engine, because it was blowing black smoke at an idle.

    We determined that the engine’s compression was low. [With low compression this RV was lucky to get 5 to 8 miles to the gallon It was determined that the engine needed a valve job. I also offered to run the RV thru emissions at that time, and I did not charge you the emission charge.

    Then we drove it to emissions and it didn’t pass. We then sent it out to another company to fine tune the engine because of the low compression to adjust it to pass emissions. Then we drove it back to emissions and it passed.

    Mrs. Fuller your engine compression rates were: Right side 105, 98, 95,110/ Left side 85, 98, 85, 108. The compression rates should have been: 150 to 170 even all around.

    This engine is very old and tired. You will find that your gas loss and mileage happened because we drove it trying to get the engine cleaned up.

    We are a family owned, and operated business of 40 years.

    We pride ourselves on are excellent customer service.

    I did offer Mrs. Fuller an in-store credit which she refused.

    Mrs. Fuller, I sincerely apologize to you for the rain wetting your RV, also please realize that your RV engine is over thirty years old.
