Claimant says:
"had tranny problems went to AAmco he assured me he would give me a good price we discussed other companies prices around 1,800. i was quoted.. this was on a wednesday .He told me he had to keep the car overnight to test drive the car .I told him i had to have the car by friday evening I had to take my daughter to Camp smith to report to deployment ..So I was upset to begin with Ibr oghtthe car. in on wednesday afternoon the sales men was a great talker. I explained my daughter was being deployed on saturday ..so i needed the car checked out The tranny was slipping a little only when it was cold he told me they would have to drive it around to really see the problem. he called wednesday night told me the car was in excellent shape but the tranny would never make it to Camp smith on saturday he told me all the stuff supposedly wrong with tranny he told me that the car was indrivable to go that far I wouldn't make it . so I told him to go ahead and do the work I was panicked I had to have my daughter there on time .Now i couldn't shop around for a better price !! he assured me it wouldn.t be a high price. He did not replace the tranny at all he fixed what was wrong, HIS WORDS told me he had parts laying around that would save me money I was so anxious to get the car back so i could have my daughter there on time. i said do the work ..I got the car back friday about 430 or so when I checked the mileage i realized the car was never driven at all So he lied about driving it to see exactly what the problem was and he lied telling me he drove it around to make sure the tranny was fine !! the tranny is not fine it don't feel much different then before I paid 3,500.oo for a repair on a tranny i could have got a new one for less anywhere else. I fell they totally took advantage of me by fast talking me and telling me I really had no choice at the time . he told me he gave me a military discount and a free oil change that I know i didn't need. i told him I thought the price was extremely high he told me You pay for great service I feel i was totally out talked and robbed and way over charged by like 1,500 at least !! i am so upset by this he lied to me about everything he was just a quick talking salesmen and took advantage of me being upset for my daughter leaving the car feels no different at all"

  • the car still is having tranny problems and the quote i have had was from a honda dealer in port Jeff The only reason i didn't go there was it is so far away Yor salesman was just that a GREAT salesman !!! The honda is still doing the same thing it was when a bought it to your shop !!
    just so unhappy about it all service .price and thinking i'm nt smart enough to realize i have been badly ripped off

I will never step in your shop again the other day the car would not shift into drive at all it took some time to WARM up to just shift WHATS UP with that and you wanted me to BUY an extended warranty !! yeah right
