Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"My initial customer service experience was not very pleasant. I confidently made a purchase online for for over $500 in motorcycle parts. I received confirmation and advised that my order has been shipped. 2 weeks past and I did not receive anything so I phone 58cycle and was finally able to speak to a human. The woman was extremely rude and did not want to help me and stated she has nothing to do with the shipping and for me to just wait and "be patient". I asked them if they can provide tracking information on the shipment and she stated it could not be provided. Weird right? So, I went back to the website to track my order and it went from "shipped" to "processing". I immediately called back and it was the same woman who I spoke to who answered. I asked her about my order once again and she then said they had to special order the parts. At this point I was already frustrated and I said I just wanted to cancel the entire order. The woman told me "theres nothing i can do" and hung up on me.

A few months later, I'm thinking my initial customer experience was just a one off bad moment for them and all their employees can't possibly be so rude. I called customer service before placing an online order to do a stock check on the items I wanted to purchase to ensure the items were there and ready to ship. I spoke to a woman and said she didn't have time to do a stock check. I told her I wanted to place an online order but wanted to make sure the items were there so there were no delays with my order like last time. She did the stock check and said the items were there.

I then confidently browsed the website to make an order online. I made the order and began browsing the website again. I then noticed there was another item I wanted to purchase some called back to do another stock check. The woman who answered was extremely rude and said she had no time to do a stock check and that she was not going to do double work. I explained that I was attempting to purchase over $1000 in motorcycle parts and I wanted to make sure it was a smooth transaction. She insisted that if someone already did a stock check for me then that's what it should be. I asked her again if she would just do me a favor, provide customer service and do the check for me or find someone who can that way I can proceed with my order. By this time, i realized she forgot she was talking to a paying customer that was ready to spend a significant amount of money in additional to the money already spent. I told her she was being extremely rude and that she didn't need to treat people that way. I requested to speak to a manager. She replied, "I am the manager". I asked to speak to her superior or someone who oversaw the entire operation. She then hung up the phone. I called back and asked to speak to a manager once again and she said there was nothing she can do and taunted me by saying there was nothing I could do either- implying that my order is not editable and I couldn't cancel if I wanted to due to the experience. She then hung up on me. I called back and someone else answered- another woman. I asked to speak to a manager and she put me on hold for over 15 minutes. I hung up and called back again. Someone answered and immediately hung up.

Everything I phoned it kept ringing and eventually went to a message system for after hours when they are still open. At this point I will never shop with 58cycle again and I suggest no on else does either unless you can tolerate the delays, horrible customer service, and child games."

  • "per my request" to cancel is if the manager who I spoke was really the person in charge. If thats truly the case, then the reviews stays public and Ill be sure make sure to process the same review on google, yelp, motorcycle websites, etc - where ever necessary to show how you treat your customers. I want to speak to. a manager. Someone who overseas the entire 58cycle operation. I cannot possibly imagine the person who treats the customers as dirt is the one in charge. I find that hard to believe. With that said, my order was canceled prior to you receiving a claim for better business. Therefore, your bad intentions are no where near trying to make this right.

  • You dont get to treat people / paying customers like crap, cancel their order without their knowledge, and continue to conduct yourself in a way that isnt in an attempt to save your business from negative social media reviews, etc and then think your doing something right or expect it all to "go away". Im not that customer. Im the customer who speaks up for everyone else who also had negative shopping experiences with 58cycle.

  • There has yet to be any manager to contact me to make this right. Therefore, the review has been prepared to go on every motorcycle forum and "Beware58cycle" pages were set up on social media websites, (facebook, twitter, instagram). There was also a seperate review for your online eBay account. I think the details herein are enough to make an impact on your clientele and significantly hurt the business integrity. Once the social media and motorycle forums launch, im sure there will be plenty of people to jump on the wagon and share their negatives experiences with 58cycle. Your business is targeting online customers and those same customers will see how shady you have treated previous customers and conducted poor business ethics. I have prepared and funded enough of a marketing campaign that it will direct customers to steer away and go to cyclegear, or motorcycle superstore. I demand to speak to a manager that cares enough about the business let alone a customer that was treated poorly. Its that simple, Im not asking for free product or $$$, I am asking to speak to a human who is looking to resolve a matter that can potential hurt the business.
