Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"I believed, what RT Overseas advertised and spent around US$4000 on some jewellery. But the stuff is at best costume jewellery, neither colour, cut or clarity is what is described in the auction site: the stones are dull, no cut, the stones are even chipped and the setting is very cheaply made.Since they offer only exchange, but not giving back your money, I have to start serious action, because you will appreciate it is a lot of money. I do not mind the items, which I bought for US$20-50, but I paid so much as over US$ 700 for one ring. This is fraud and they cannot go on like that and rip off more people.
I want all my money back, they can have their crap jewellery back, I also want the huge auction fee percentages and overpriced postage back.

Update 8/28/16

"JewelryRoom is still owing me $711 and they do not react any longer to my emails.
I got one message saying they would give me a credit for further purchases, but I told them early on that this is not an option. That I want my money back. They had agreed and payed parts of the to be re funded sum, but with the last payment of over $700 they do not react anymore.
But since I had their written consent that they would refund the whole sum, it is very unfair and unsatisfactory that they seem to leave it at that."

    I wrote to you several times in the last few days to ask for the last two invoices to be refunded and I did not get a response, let alone receive the money! There are still US$512.74 outstanding. Please transfer my money back to me and then we call it even and the claim gets closed. It has been nearl it has been over one month, since I filed the complaint and I was very patient so far. But this could change. You promised to refund EVERYTHING!

  • So far Jewelryroom.co has refunded me around US$ 3300, but since they promised me to refund EVERYTHING, I bought, there are still $1075.97 outstanding.
    If they at least refund all the money I have spent on this hopelessly cheap made costume jewelry, I would be okay. But even there is around US$ 700 missing.
    I really do hope that that change their mind and start communicating again. I haven't heard from them in about 2 months.
