On 10/1/2015, we did sign with RSI with 3 separate properties. The transfer process for two of the properties was to take 6 months or less the third property could take 12 months. In November 2015, we sent the deeds to 2 of the properties. they sent us transfer paperwork and December 31, 2015, we returned transfer paperwork for SumDay Vacations to take the timeshares. The Transfer Agreement with SumDay Vacations logo states we must pay maintenance fees for 2016 which we did and sent proof and cannot use the timeshares for 2016 which we did not. I called many times and was told everything was fine. In September 2016, I received notice for the upcoming maintenance fees. I called RSI and told them. I was told that SumDay Vacations required me to pay an additional $2,500 to complete the transfer process. I called SumDay Vacations and spoke to Joana, asking why I had to pay an additional $2500. I was told that they had no file on our timeshare or our names and were not interested in our timeshares and if additional fees were needed, they would have contacted us directly not requested RSI contact us for additional fees. I called RSI again spoke to Jeff, he said "no that my file had not been sent to SumDay Vacations", even though on previous phone calls I was led to believe it had been sent and they were just waiting for the final paperwork listing SumDay as owners instead of me and my husband. He also said the additional fee was their fee to complete the transfer. I had already paid $4,295, now they wanted another $2500. Since the transfer was not complete I was obligated for the maintenance fees. He OFFERED ME AN OPTION OF REFUNDING MY MONEY OR I COULD PAY $2500 AND HAVE THEIR ATTORNEY WRITE A LETTER GIVING THE TIMESHARES BACK TO THE COMPANIES. I TOLD HIM NO I JUST WANT MY MONEY BACK. NOW A PROCESS THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO TAKE LESS THAN 6 MONTHS TOOK 11 MONTHS. Yes I said it was taking too long I should have requested a refund 5 months before I did. I think 11 months is being very patient. As for the 3 and final property they claim I am released. I spoke to Wendy on March 24, 2017. She told me that the timeshare is cancelled. I asked her to send me proof of this and I will drop my claim. It is April 1, 2017 and I have received nothing. When I spoke the customer service person at RSI she had instructed me to send copies of the letters proving that I had contacted the 3 agencies I was supposed to contact, their ability of not being able to help and letter from timeshare stating nothing was cancelled and request my refund. I did so by certified mail. On March 24, 2017, I spoke to Wendy and she acknowledged that they had copies and told me she needed to speak to her manager and inquire why Lori had placed in my file that the timeshare was cancelled. I also sent copies to the Better Business Bureau and happy to send copies to be posted of the letters from the agencies I was instructed to contact informing they could not help, the letter from the timeshare stating that nothing is cancelled and a copy of an e-mail from Saby the case worker stating she would inform her manager to refund my money since she was not able to get the timeshare cancelled to be posted to the PeopleClaim website. Now if this Lori person can produce this letter she has stated in my file that the timeshare is cancelled, I am no longer responsible for maintenance fees and I no longer owe Concord Finance, I will drop my claim. Otherwise I want my refund. At least I did not ask for reimbursement for not being able to use the 2 timeshares in 2016 that I paid maintenance fees and they led me to believe I no longer owned them therefore I could not use them. Instead of RSI complaining about me stating that a process they said would take 6 months that I said took too long after 11 months, they should apologize for all the trouble they have put me through.
To Whom it May Concern. Relief Solutions International takes pride in all of our hard work that is put into each and every client. These types of situations are unfortunate. At this time we have made multiple attempts to help the Consumer even though her Timeshare was Completed. On 12/20/2017 we reached out to the Consumer to make sure she received her completion letter as requested in her claim showing she is no longer a Timeshare Owner. The Consumer was out of town for the holidays. She stated she was going to send in a letter to go over from her resort showing she still was a Owner. We reached out again on 1/18/2018 and today with no response from the client. Without the client’s involvement there is nothing further we can do to help them.At this time Relief Solutions International has fulfilled the Contract signed between the client and our office. If the client has any further Timeshare needs we would be happy to assist at that time. Thank you,Lori Miller
Yes, I received a letter from Relief Soultions congratulating me on cancellation of timeshare February 3 2017. That is not proof just a congratulating letter. On April 17, 2017 2 months after contract was to cancelled still receiving letters. As of February 8, 2018 still receiving calls so I don't answer phone let it go to voice mail. On November 15, 2017. Ocean Reef still states account open on credit report and I still owe 14.316. Told Lori I would contact Ocean Reef for verification. Last time took them 6 months to respond.
I have been able to Communicate with Ms. Cox and as we have discussed our Records state she is out of her Timeshare. I will be reaching out to our Legal Team to provide client with further documentation as requested. Ms. Cox will be sending in the documents I requested back in December 2017 that she is stating it shows she is still a Owner. I did explain that RSI takes pride on the hard work we put into this and when we are hired we complete our Responsibilities. Ms Cox is worried about damage to her credit and we did also discuss in our Contract we do state that we do not guarantee credit, as this is not a service we provide and the client was aware, however she has those options through our affiliate. In Conclusion we will reach out to our Legal Team to provide more documentation showing the Timeshare is completed.
I spoke to Lori but told her I was not complaint about credit reporting but my credit report should not show account open and active but should show closed if contract is cancelled. Sending copy of statement dates April 17, 2017 and copy of credit report showing account still open since RSI claims everything has been cancelled since February 2017, why are these items showing still open. Lori did say she will check into it. I told when I receive proof contract cancelled I will this web site know.
"This is an unfortunate matter that we do not take lightly as we are ending a burden for clients and never wish to cause more of a burden. This client signed up for our services on 10/1/2015. With 3 separate properties. On 9/21/2016 the client called and was upset that the process was taking so long and was not completed. Due to the severity of the call RSI decided to cancel the 2 properties that the client wanted a refund on. Even outside of our Cancelation Policies we took the extra steps with the Consumer to satisfy our clients and Refunding the client on the two properties. We continued to work on the 3rd and Final Property , on 1/30/2017 we had the Consumer's released from there Timeshare. In conclusion Relief Solutions International has fulfilled the written contract and is willing to help the client in the future if they have any other TimeShare Relief that is needed. Thank you,"
