Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"In September my husband ordered by phone the Olde Brooklyn Lantern,

After almost 2 months of them telling us it woud be sent in 15 days, on the 26th of October we canceled the order. On the 29th of October telebrands took $29.97 from our checking account. We have not recieved the product nor do we want it any longer. We have called on several occasions to get a refund and have as yet not received it."

  • You stated that you cancelled your order. Was this done via telephone, or is there some process for cancellation that you were advised of? If you cancelled in writing, you should contact customer service, let them know that you have a charge for an item that you cancelled in your account, and that you can resend them the proof of your cancellation to expedite your refund. If not, you can call them again, follow up with a letter, indicating that you had attempted to cancel an order previously, have now be charged, and have not received any items for the charge. A refund of those charges is warranted, especially with no items received.
