Claimant says:
"I responded to a mail solicitation. Spoke to a Ms. Sabrina Lee who identified herself by saying she was in the Client Services Dept. Ms. Lee stated the following:

1. I qualified for a loan modification under the HARP program
2. Process would take 60 - 90 days.
3. I asked her if the interest rate were subject to market fluctuations and she said they were not under the HARP program.
4. I told her I had a substantial net worth and had a credit rating of 821. She stated that this did not matter under this program.

Her follow through was terrible and I was passed from one person to the next. I finally dealt directly with my mortgage company - CitiMortgage

Based on the representation of Ms. Lee I wrote three check in late June. The first check was for $1747 and dated June 27, 2013. The second check was post dated July 27, 2013 and was for $874. The third check was post dated August 27, 2013 and was for $874. All the statements thatg were made by Ms. Lee were totally untrue. The fact is that I was turned down by CitiMortgage on the modification because I was not considered a hardship case. Ms. Lee committed an outright fraud and I want my money back. Total of the check issued by me was $3495.

I learned that this company has an office based in Costa Mesa, CA and there is a Compliance Dept at this office. I called the person who I was told is the supervisor of this dept - Mr. Bob Anderson but he has not returned my call. Mr. Anderson's telephone number is: (949) 289-9479. Ms. Lee's telephone number is (661) 753-3500

Message from Summit Legal Consultants: Mr. Cohn contacted us directly and we discussed his situation. His complaint was with the marketing company employees that brought him to our firm not with us. We sent him his retainer that he signed but does not remember signing. We also will work with him on returning the fees that have not been earned to this point. The firm did perform the services outlined in his retainer and there are never any guarantees on the outcome of any legal or financial case we handle. The firm works to the best of its ability to facilitate the best outcome for each of its clients.
