Claimant says:
"I spoke with Nadine Jadegar in August 2011 about working independently for him on 6 complete packages for his store (The Price Tag) in order to be complete for his deadline for the August 2011 Magic Show. I rushed to complete these packages which included: sewing, cutting, yardage, & pattern-work. I hired independent sewers & cutters to complete these projects in order to complete these packages for him. There was a verbal contract between myself (Elba Bogo) and Nadine Jadegar. When I arrived to his office to drop off the packages I had completed, he made me work with him at his office for 3 hours consulting him on yields & yardage. I normally charge for each package $300 & up but he offered me $150 a package, and I agreed to this ridiculous price. I also explained to him that I charge $100 an hour for consulting. I also purchased labels for his garments with his label for $30. He only paid me partially $400 on August 11th, he asked me to come back the next day for the balance. I went back to him 6 to 8 times and he never gave him the balance. My boss sold garments to him & Nadine said he was shorted therefor was not going to pay me. I have nothing to do with my boss's company. My boss asked him to send him inventory of what he was missing & Nadine never responded. Nadine was never in fact shorted, it was simply an excuse not to pay me!"
