Claimant says:
"I was a customer with these people from November of 2012 to June of 2013. I live on a fixed income, I am disabled. I had to move to a place that cost a lot less per month. When I got ready to move I called Windstream to see about getting my service transferred to the new address at which time they informed me that they did not provide service to that area, so I had them disconnect service. I paid what I thought was my last billings with them. This moth I got a email notice that my windstream bill was on ready to be viewed. When I pulled the account up it reflected that I had a balance due by 9/3/13 of 170.00 it said it was for an early termination fee on the Internet. I signed no contracts nor commitments with this company and i did call them to get the service transferred its not my fault they did not provide service for that area. The only thing in which I signed was an electronic signature when the man came to set up service and when I asked him what that was for he said its just an acknowledgement that he set the service up, I this company affixed my signature to anything else to try to get this amount thats a forgery document. Again I live on a fixed income its tough enough to make it as it is without receiving a bill for services I did not and will not even receive."
