"I am unhappy with the Walgreens store number 05198 located on 7340 Collins Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33141, tel: 3058645487
There are many other Walgreens in our area that take advantage of tourists and customers. If by any chance, you happen to pay at a cosmetics counter and not at the main register, they have broken down printers linked to their cash machines and non of their advertised savings would even be printed. This is very misleading and cashiers act as if this would be totally normal. I had to waste several times a half an hour to have all my shopping returned and go though a cash machine that has a working printer, so I can actually obtain the advertised savings that Walgreens bombards me with by e mails and other means. I am an educated customer, but the majority of people are unaware of their business practices and they never obtain their discounts and jingle coupons. The situation is complicated by the sometimes complete lack of English language of the employees found in these stores. Oftentimes, it is impossible to find an English speaking employee and solutions come very slowly because the employees do not even understand what the customer asks for. Then comes the extensive waiting period for a "competent supervisor" Overall, a basic shopping experience may take a half an hour at the cashier just to be able to benefit from the offers the company proposes. Some of the cheating is purposefully done since those cashier had not seen a working coupon printer in years. Nobody bothers to replace or fix them. Without those saving coupons the customer may end up paying 30% or more for the products advertised as savings. What is the point in giving customers such a difficult shopping experience repeatedly?! Overall, Walgreens ends up with millions of dollars "saved" from the customers, money that should have stayed with the customers."
