Claimant says:
"My husband and I hired Jeremy to do work on a rental property we have in Virginia. We signed a contract for the first part and paid Jeremy in full. When asked for pictures of the work, he sent us work in progress pictures not finished pictures. We desperately needed more work completed so we could get a tenant in the property. We asked Jeremy to TRIM the trees in front, Mulch the back which included around the deck, and pull weeds from the gardens in back. Jeremy not only CHOPPED our tree up but did not complete the mulching and did not complete the weeding. He was counting on the fact that with us not being there we would never know what terrible work he does. We received pictures of the work not completed by the realtor who was assigned to help us find a tenant. Not only did he not finish this job but the previous job we had already paid for was also not completed. We had to pay $800.00 to have another person hired by the realtor to complete the job. Now Jeremy is taking us to small claims court to be paid for a job not completed. He knows we live in Georgia and will end up paying more than owed for the trip up there. He seems very experienced at this. There was no contract signed for the second job and he is stating that we owe him $550.00 plus $72.00 for court costs, again for a job not completed."
