Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"My business - Langston Racing in Lake Elsinore, California closed. I closed my business account with them and had to pay a penalty for early termination - which I did. The disconecton was done on August 25th 2010 with Robert (a verizon employee) and the reference was 00119353. I paid the penalty in three installments of $638.31 on October, November and December of 2010. I now work for West Coast Yamaha Inc - I am a sharholder here - and they have lodged a lien against this company for $3000.00. I have tried to resolve it with them but keep going round in circles. I spoke to Jonathan Rodregues at MTO Financial Services who told me that it was settled but this was obviously a lie. I have paid my debts, I did everything correctly, paid everything due but Verizon is such a big company and I cannot get this resolved. What should I do?"

  • Laurie at Verizon's offer to me is that I "only have to pay an additional $375 and they will close the case- It is impossible to fight these big corporations - I really believe that I do not owe them anything - they owe me but sometimes you are just too tired to fight becuase there is no one there on your side - it is all about the big corporation and they just walk all over their customers.

  • I am a victim of violent crime, and have sustained substantial injuries including cervical spine damage requiring surgery; AND police misconduct on top of that! I had been a customer of Verizon since cell phones became available! I advised them of my issues and inquired about their HOPE program, and the customer service person I spoke with, as well as the executive office reps, did absolutely nothing to help me. And they were excessively charging me for data that I know was invalid nor did they have the ability to prove. I had paid over $5000 to them in a year, when I used to have unlimited everything. But some loophole, they advised me that I had lost my original unlimited plan. Total BS. They have disconnected my kids' phones and mine before the bill was past due! This has made life a lot harder as my doctors have been trying to reach me, etc. Verizon is the most uncaring to say the least. Complete maltreatment of another human being with billions of dollars in revenue??? It amazes me that the government will spend over $100k for a murderous inmate to have a sex change but when I have tried every "so-called" victim resource on the web, tv, etc. I get nowhere, no help. Sickening.
