Claimant says:
"I moved next door in the same building I have been in for the last 14 years, I moved next door on the 7th of January, my services was supposed to be transferred to the new address, however when the verizon tech arrived he called the office and he then told me that I had to start a new account and the old account would be closed, I even had to take new cable boxes, I asked the tech before he left was the account next door closed and he assured me that it was, however I found out the next month (Feb) that the old account was still active, in fact my service was terminated on 3/11/13 for non payment because the payments I had been making was going to the old account, after talking to six to seven different people I was assured that everything was straightened out, but I get a bill for the old account week before last additionally since January 7th I have paid verizon $799.47 and to add insult to injury I received an email today asking for $435.25 I am sick to my stomach with verizon, they have extremely terrible billing practices and even worse customer service, I had sent them a letter asking them to terminate my service effective 4/17/13 because of their inconsideration and inability to deal with their customers fairly, and they have totally ignored me about my payments and my request to terminate this grossly terrible service, I have NEVER been treated this badly by any business, these people are modern day pirates to say the least, I am sick and tired of talking to them and writing letters, Please see if you all can get through to these inconsiderate uncaring money hungry people,"
