Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"Verizon over billed and double billed me for the same account from March 2010 to March 2011. As a result, I paid the correct billing and the incorrect billing except for 233.00 and they discontinued services to my account. Verizon sent both bills to collection and reported both accounts to the credit agencies. I believe I am owed thousands of dollars back and that my account be cleared to show paid in full. I also believe I should be compensated for all the harassing phone calls from their collection agency. I will attach the bills I have which show the Double Billing and account numbers."

  • I spoke to a Ms. Hayes in the Presidential offices of Verizon who reviewed the bills and my claim. Unfortunately, she only sent copies of bills from 2011 and did not send copies of the bills from 2010 where the problems 1st began. I also filed again with the FCC and still maintain verizon overcharged and double billed me from 2010 until 2011, discontinued services, did not refund the charges for FIOS III and then sent both accounts to collections.
