Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"I have stopped by the local Verizon shop and spoken with their higher up myself today. No one seems to know how to block people who use Caller IDs: Unavailable, Unknown, 0, Unknwn. Most of the several hundred times have come from "Unavailable". Usually the person doesn't speak, just calls and calls and calls-- now for years. I want to block those Caller IDs immediately, please. A lady named Loralain at your customer support center told me today on the phone that the only way I can find out who is calling is to hire an expensive lawyer, push a law suit, and have a supine served. I would like to do that then, with the help of a lawyer paid by Verizon-- maybe a lawyer who takes care of this sort of problem. I have heard of several people who are having this same problem. One time about 2 weeks ago, when I picked up the phone, from "Unavailable", the caller told me I had gone to a particular clinic on a certain date, and had seen a certain doctor, and wanted to confirm that, and the name of the doctor. It was rather late at night and NO ONE knew that except the clinic, which I called, and their one affiliate. Neither of the clinics had called and they never conduct those kinds of informational requests nor surveys. So whoever is using "Unavailable" may be listening to my phone conversations, which also includes bank information. I WANT UNAVAILABLE, UNKNOWN, 0, AND UNKNWN ID callers to be blocked. Why can you all transmit messages from the moon, and not do something this simple? I have asked for over a year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I look forward to your legal assistance, as this is more your problem than my own, frankly, and seems like a serious oversight. I would like to press legal charges, and have a supine served or a few. I would like to know who the individuals are first. Thank you."

  • I have been getting calls from "unavailable" for 2.5 years-- as many as 5 in one day. Verizon says they can not block nor trace this caller for me, without my hiring a lawyer. THIS IS MY PHONE NUMBER! Why should I agree to pay high lawyers' fees, when all I want them to do is block the calls from that unidentified idiot? I am beginning to want to put a few people in jail. I has been nerve wracking, the massive number of calls in the past 2.5 years-- usually silent.
