"I WAS WRONGFULLY TERMINATED 6/1/2012 FROM THIS COMPANY WITHOUT ANY WARNINGS OR RECENT INCIDENTS. THROUGHOUT MY ENTIRE EMPLOYMENT I HAD BEEN HARRASSED ABOUT NOT "SMILING ENOUGH" AT "SUPERIOR" STAFF IN THE OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT. DESPITE MY OUTSTANDING JOB PERFORMANCE, I WAS CONSTANTLY THREATENED, QUESTIONED, CHALLENGED, AND DISCREDITED. THE WORK ENVIROMENT WAS EXTREMELY HOSTILE. ALL ASPECTS OF MY EMPLOYMENT WERE MICROMANAGED. HOW I CHOSE TO SPEND MY BREAK/LUNCH WAS ALSO CRITICIZED AND OFTEN INTERRUPTED. EVEN BY NOT PARTICIPATING IN DRINKING ACTIVITIES AFTER WORK HOURS CAUSED MY CHARACTER TO BE DESCRIBED AS BEING ANTISOCIAL. CONSULTATIONS AND/OR CONVERSATIONS THAT I HAD WITH AFRICAN-AMERICAN STUDENTS WERE OFTEN FOLLOWED BY AN INQUERY FROM ANOTHER STAFF OF HIGHER RANK, PRIVATELY, WITHOUT ADDRESSING ME. I HAVE ALSO BEEN TREATED AND TALKED TO HARSHLY IN TERMS OF MY HEARING. I AM HEARING IMPAIRED AND WEAR HEARING AIDS. I HAVE BEEN SUBJECTED TO RUDE REMARKS AND HOSTILITY. FOR EXAMPLE, I WAS ACCUSED OF IGNORING A MANAGER WHO WAS SPEAKING BEHIND ME. WHEN I LET THEM KNOW I WAS NOT AWARE THEY WERE TALKING TO ME, THEY RESPONDED IN A VERY NASTY MANNER, "WELL IF YOU CAN"T HEAR ME, YOU NEED TO TURN THOSE THINGS UP!" FROM THE TRANSITION FROM CREATIVE BEAUTY ACADEMY TO TRICOCI UNIVERSITY AND THROUGHOUT MY EMPLOYMENT WITH TRICOCI UNIVERSITY, UNDER EXTREME STRESS AND DURESS I HAVE SUFFERED TWO MISCARRIAGES. DURING THAT TIME I WAS STILL BEING PRESSURED TO "SMILE MORE". WHEN I WAS TERMINATED, I WAS TOLD I HAD TO BE "PHONY" AND I "DID NOT FIT" INTO TRICOCI UNIVERSITY'S "CULTURE". AS AN EDUCATED, EXPERIENCED, AFRICAN-AMERICAN COSMETOLOGY INSTRUCTOR OF OVER TEN YEARS I DON'T KNOW WHAT THEIR "CULTURE" IS SUPPOSED TO CONSIST OF, NOR WHAT WAS MEANT BY THAT STATEMENT"
