Claimant says:
"As my brothers POA, I am helping him get his deposit back. I believe Mrs. Brooks is taking advantage my my brothers mental health. She claims he left things dirty that weren't . I have Video from the day he left it. She also claims he did not give notice even tho he did when he paid the earlier months rent as well as neighbors who saw the landlord in that time frame told her. My brother is In a shelter, has mental issues that I am working on. He is being taken advantage of.
Mrs Brooks did not send a letter or the 95$ she did return until May 17. Past the 30 day requirement by law. We are willing to accept the remaining deposit, rather than sue for double the deposit as allowed by law for not working within the 30 requirement."
