Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"I just recieved my deposit back from the recent apartment complex I lived in. They sent me 5.25, which I take as an insult. I have photos and video with the time and dates of when and how I left the unit. I payed rent on the third. Never late. I gave my 30 day notice on May 3rd, and they say I still owe 45.67 for June rent, and I was gone and keys were turned into the office the last day of May. I do have proof. The reason I have such proof is because I seen all this coming ahead of time. All three office managers, Which I know as Jennifer, Nicole, and Karen, are very unprofesional and rude. They yelled at us for making a complaint of very loud neighbors who were dealing drugs to children, loud all night, and throwing beer cans on our porch. Also the tenants above had lots more people than allowed and threatened my disabled husband with his life, just cause my husband was worried about the children in the area getting hit by a car gong way too fast. The worker Nicole was with Jennifer as we were driving by the office we seen them and tried to explain a this what was happening and she told us very rudly to shut up over and over again. So I told my husband out of anger in my own vehicle( around nobody but us four) to please just drive on if this rude witch is going to treat us this way. So they gave us a three day pay or quit for talking to my husband. They all three gang up against tenants. I feel something very crooked is going on over there in the office. Other people do to, but are afraid to speak up due to possibly being evicted over it. When asked to speak with whoever is above them I was denied. Two times while living there, and once today to dispute this joke of a payment. I managed apartments for a bit and had family who has too. It is normal wear and tear. By law carpets are to be steam cleaned by the lanlords every time a renter moves out and another in. Paint as well. Because the apartment #6C already had bad carpet when I moved in. Actually I believe when the toilet broke a few days after we moved in, that they took so long to fix it , that sewage seeped into the hallway closet next to bathroom. They never sanatized it as promised. So we lived in that stank. Anyways everything is documented on film of how clean and the condition and when I was gone. I would like my money I'm owed. When I called to ask about it I was hung up on two times
I payed 399.00 for deposit. I want it back
Minus the cost for blinds that were ruined which is about 130.00 they charged to clean an already clean apartmenr. $50 for floor care. $ 30 for prep for paint.another $85 for carpet cleaning. I should only be being charged for blinds for both bedrooms and a verticle set for the slidding door. That cost is $53.08. I would like my $300.00 plus back. Please help. These peolpe are so mean and I k ow the laws."
