Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"I hired the Stripes bail bonds to post a $30,000 cash bond for me, post bond only, no other services. I put up $30,000 cash for this and have done my time for my case and all that is behind me now, no pending charges what so ever. I did a year in D.O.C. and while I was there he returned $20,000 of the $30,000. He (Tyler Baldwin) a representative of Stripes bail bonds included a short letter stating that they were not trying to rip me off and that they would return the balance of $10,000 soon . They have had my $30,000 for almost a year before they decide to give it back. So after I was released I went on to look up this Tyler Baldwin and the company he represents to see where the rest of my money was. He kept telling me soon, he had one excuse after another in which I got tired of hearing so I told him to pay up or I was going to take him to court. Apparently he did not like that, He then sent me an itemized bill which includes charges for some so-called investigative work? He billed me for trips to my house to sign paperwork for $1200.00 , he came to my house 1(one) time. I don't know what he was investigating, He wasn't hired to investigate anything. He was hired to post my bond and bond only. He also charged me $500.00 to get my bond money returned to me as Quickly as possible. This I don't understand, my bond was exonerated and available for pick-up the following day after my hearing. This means he used my money without my consent, to do with whatever he liked. This Stripes bail bonds started out as Copperstate bailbonds. One of the representatives of Copperstate bond's name is Jeff Penrod. He is partners with Tyler Baldwin of Stripes bail bonds. These people are ripping off the general public, including me. I don't want them to get away with this, it's wrong and they need to be stopped so it doesn't happen to someone else. Amen Thank you for your time and I hope you can help me with this because I am not stopping until my money plus interest is returned to me. Thanks again, sincerely, Todd Copper"

  • I HAD PROPERTY THAT I USED for collateral to post bond for a friend of mine. My friend went to court hearing and the bond was then to be returned. But, one year later, very recently, I learn that my property that I own outright, was sold to somebody I didn't know. Tyler Baldwin and Penrod sold my property to two brothers and, they went on my property and broke into all of the sheds & stole everything that my storage containers had in them. Oh yeah, and they forged my name on a Power of Attorney. Can you give me a call maybe, if it not too inconvenient. 602-368-9674 my name is Angie.
