Claimant says:
"i want my money back from the speeddate.com they have lied to me they told me it will 099cents for the first month its not been the whole month thet took out ,99cents on 12/28/2012 then they took out $155.40 on the 12/31/2012 i tried to call them & email them at the customer sivers@speeddate.com they email me back telling me that the card # does not match mine last for they are xxxxxx1514 this is the only card i have at this bank i am sending you my files from there pl send it back when you are done pl"

  • Go to your bank immediatly and cancel your credit card. You will get a temporary card, and then a new one in about 10 days. This is the only way to get rid of speed date or they will just keep billing you even if you try to cancel. Also contact the better business bureau and file a complaint. It probably wont do any good but the more complaints on record the better. Get as far away from them as you can these people are CROOKS and will keep billing you as long as they can get away with it. Put some blogs out on the net so other people don't get taken by them. Their getting rich at our expense because were just trying to meet some nice people

  • If you signed up for a promotional offer of a month, they should not have charged you the yearly membership amount until approximately 30 days after your initial charge (the $0.99 you quoted as the promotional amount). At least, it seems from researching this issue, that this particular company is open to handling and dealing with complaints. Because you have tried to work this out via email with the customer service center, perhaps trying to talk to someone higher up in the company will give you some resolution. I see from your claim that you are seeking both the promotional amount and the full year membership amount to be refunded. If the company were to allow you to have a full 30 days at the promotional amount (in essence, restarting the original offer), would that be of interest to you? Perhaps talking to a supervisor or manager will assist you towards getting a refund of the year subscription/membership.
