Claimant says:
"We are owed the return of the security deposit of $650 from Smiley Homes, handled by Ariel Bergerman. The apartment building is located at 6142 1st Avenue South. He does not dispute the amount due, said he would mail the deposit check to us but has not done so & no longer answers the cell phone or business phone.
There are still rental signs at the address, but I cannot locate Ariel or get any response form him or anyone at Smiley Homes. If there is anything you can do or suggest, please let me know. At a minimun, please help get the word out that Smiley Homes is a rippoff operation & can not be trusted. They have several residential & commercial rentals in St Petersburg, so no doubt others will be taken advantage of also.
As we live in Hernando County, there is not much we can do here, but the word needs to get out that Smiley Homes is not to be trusted.

  • 10 years ago, my buyers and myself were also lied to by this man, Eric Bergerman. He is an unethical individual (Smiley Homes!) who would do everybody a favor if he got into his airplane and pilot himself back to where he came from. No need for lying losers in this country!
