Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"I purchased a Skin Tek Solution product from Skin Tek Solutions (Rapid Fulfillment Inc., 12924 Peirce Street, Pacoima, California, 91331) to remove skin tags and moles and had a 60-day trial period or money back.The cost was $39.95 plus $19.00 for an upgrade). I tried it 14-15 times with absolutely no result. This was Nov. 21, 2016. I shipped it back Dec. 30, 2016 with the almost empty jar and my USPS tracking says they recived it Jan. 4, 2017 @ 10:37 am. In the meantime they sent another jar which I wrote "refused" on the package (unopened) and mailed it back. However, I was charged $39.95 for that. I called them on Jan. 12, 2017 to ask about a refund (1-844-347-0748) and Josh 38 told me they charged a restocking fee so I wouldn't get a full refund. I received no receipt and there were no fees stated in their return policy online (you ca't get their website now as they've taken it off). I waited a couple of weeks and saw no credit to my account. So, I called again and told them that there was no mention of a restocking fee for returned items and I was due the fll $78.90. I was promised a refund again (this was Feb. 3, 2017).   I called again Feb. 17, 2017 and I was told the refund would be mailed to me.  By March 17th I hadn't received any refund credit so I called and this time I was told they had tried to issue a credit through Bank of America and it had been refused so they closed my account and said I couldn't have a refund.  I asked why they hadn't tried to mail it to me as they had previously said and they said absolutely no refund.  I talked to Carlos 246 and then Emil 426 (supervisor?) and she said I would only get 50% refund on the order refused and  issue a refund of $19.00. I told her I was on SS and I couldn't afford to just give them money. I got no help at all and was refused. I told her that the reason for denying my refund by the bank was probably because my credit card was suspicious of being hacked so I was issued a new one which meant the old number was closed and they refused it. All she could say was 'Sorry'. That money is mine and they have no right to keep it! I would like to just get the $39.95 back from the refused jar.
