Claimant says:
"My daughter was looking into getting a car from them but needed a co-signer. She asked me and I said I didn't have a problem with it. I called them and spoke to them regarding how the information was used. They said they would check my credit to see if I could help her. My credit was to be used on a one time base. Since that initial ckecking at the end of February, I have received 9 different responses from credit ckecking company's from 9 separate occasions. I spoke to Shultz asking about this, I was told by them they only use 3 company's, and that they saw my daughter had applied to several other dealers. Which is why there were multiple credit checks. I know that was not the case, the credit reports have Shultz listed on the report. And I would also have had to given my consent for others to run a check. Which I have not. I was in the process of leasing a tractor trailer for my employment . Unfortunately now that I have multiple credit checks my score has dropped below the threshold for my approval, at this time there is nothing I can do to change this aside from waiting until the time has passed and the negative number drops off."
