Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"I went on to find out what my score was with Equifax, Experian and TransUnion. I started to fill in name address information. At first they do not tell you there is a fee or not.

Then after all the information is in and I started to read more about ScoreSense I find out that they do charge a fee of $29.95.

I deleted all of the information that I had put in. I forgot about it.

I went in to my account at the bank and found out that they had taken out the $29.95 on 7/15/12 and called on it at this # 1-800-678-6327 to find out how they got all of the information that I had deleted. No response made since.

I got a notice today on my e-mail that they would not give me the money back because it was over the time they give to cancle the service.

I don't know what else to do.

$29.95 is to much money when I didn't use the programe in the first place.

Thank you so much

Connie R. Hays"

  • I lost 150 dollars before I caught on to the extra charges on my bank statement. They removed 2 monthes from my bill, but not the other 5 monthes, and I think I'm lucky because others have lost even more. Scoresense shouldn't be allowed to piggyback a seperate deal other than the 1 dollar so called free credit report they advertize in big bold print. If they advertize a 1 dollar free credit report than thats what the deal should be, period. No other offer should be allowed to attach itself in small print on to the same offer by clicks or hyperlinks or other tricks. Scoresense has been allowed to get away with this for a long time. I'm going to contact my state senator in NJ and urge him to outlaw this kind of internet practice, and I hope there will be many more joining me.

  • I JUST GOT OFF THE PHONE WITH SCORESENSE WITH THE SAME ISSUES. I AM ALL IN IF ANYONE WANTS TO START A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT. I HAVE READ ANOTHER BOARD WHERE THERE ARE TONS OF THE SAME COMPLAINTS.

  • I very much agree. I hope there is a class action suit against this company. They are commiting identity theft. They are masquerading as an agency that is supposed to monitor credit --- not steal person's private information and commit repeated fraud. I am going to file a police report. What they are doing is identity theft on a grand level. -- S. Brown
