"I am complaining about Santander Consumer USA of Fort Worth Texas. a car loan company and a debt collector. I was informed about this when I purchased my "lemon" 2006 Subaru on Dec. 2012 with pay off $13.158.17. Car loan was $11,500.00. On May 2016 I had paid total of $15,690.33..a short summary of 41 monthly payments of $285.13 plus an extra payment of $4000.00 on Nov. 2015. After I paid the extra 4-grand I called the company and verify why their monthly statement always have an accrued monthly interest between $38.00 to 55.00. What was bothersome is the fact that they are charging me an interest of $2.81 per day!!! or $84.30 per month..So I wrote total of 5 certified mail to the this address et P.O BOX 961245 Fort Worth TEXAS 76161-1245 ALL RECEIVED by an staff employee name Steve Cabeen ..the last correspopndence was sent Oct. 22.2016 and was received Oct. 26th 2016.. Meanwhile a collection letter was sent and I sent another letter disputing the allegation.. this is the account #30000181970681000 ..I am doing this because there are lots of consumers that had [probably] been victimized by this company without their knowledge .I believe that this is worth looking at and hopefully this can be stopped. BEING AN ADVOCATE TO THIS CAUSE IS THE RIGHT THING TO DO..Meanwhile I am ready to cancel my landline because I am bombarded with their call everyday.. not a good thing when one is recovering fro cancer surgery
