Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"I purchased a 2005 ford 500 from russ darral of West Bend. Within 200 miles of owership brake pads and roters had to be replaced. cruise control does not work any more,nor does driverside heated seat,transmissan works improper, driver side window works improper.When I contacted sales manager I was told "too bad you should not have signed the inspection sheet that was completed by their own in house techs, and refused to any thing, and told me too bad."

The claimant's settlement terms were rejected with the following explanation:
  • "You purchased a used as-is vehicle with no warranties either implied or represented. The only issue that I could see in the service history since the purchase of the vehicle in June 2013 was that on the day of delivery a new battery was installed. Other than that there has been no complaint as to any issue with the vehicle that I can find. If there are were issues with the vehicle, we may have looked at them immediately after delivery, however, the complaints for non-working components of the vehicle with no back up documentation showing that you had a quote for repairs cannot be addressed at this time. At the time of purchase there was a warranty available for you to purchase which may have fixed some or all of your concerns. You elected to not purchase the warranty and declined the coverage. I cannot offer to repair your vehicle free of charge. I will offer a service discount of 25% off of parts and labor if you would like to utilize our service department for any of your concerns."
