"I brought a vacuum cleaner on 1/3/16
The vacuum is not working: does not pick up the dirt on the carpet. I call and spoke to the manager Mr. Michael and he told me there is nothing he can do because the contract I signed said I could return the item within three days. The item I am talking about cost $1724. I was told it is life warranty but it is false. I need help please."

  • We actually came by her home on 2/1/2016 and helped Mrs. Ntemar with the system, showed her how to use it again and made sure everything was working properly at no charge because we do honor the warranty. Our main concern is customer service so we will be more than happy to come out again at her convenience and make sure she is using it propely since there is nothing wrong with the system.   • We came out to her home again on Saturday the 20th to assist her with the machine and she would not allow us to come in and help. We are an hour and a half away, at this point we will not be coming back and closing this matter on our end. For years We have had an A rating with the BBB and a 5 star customer service rating with the Kirby company for a reason.

  • Mr. Michael should meet with you and your Kirby vacuum cleaner and find out why it is not working right.

    Kirby's are great vacuum cleaners and should work for many years.  I think Mr. Michael is young and inexperienced

    especially when it comes respecting and accommodating the needs of his costumers as well as employees.  Perhaps you should call his boss which is the Kirby company where they are made.  I think they are manufactured in Ohio.

    Mr. Michael needs respond to the problem at hand which as you said, "does not pick up the dirt on the carpet. " You aren't asking for a refund, you just want the vacuum cleaner to work.
