Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"I was sent to the hardware store that my husband and i use to go to because they were friendlier than the big stores. (lowes and home depot) I was to come home with a thermostat for our furnace because ours wasnt working properly. My son was to busy to pick it up because he works so many hours and my husband was at hospice fighting for his life. With no help i picked out what i thought was the right one. But when i got it home it didnt fit. So my son called and talked to someone who helped us get what he needed to fix the thermastat. Meanwhile i was to return the thermastat i picked up. My cousin and her husband were going in that direction so i asked if they could return it for me. Now before i left the day i bought it, i asked the girl at the register if i could return it if it was the wrong one and she said yes, just keep the receipt. And the sign at the register said that with a receipt and before 60 days you could return items. There was no mention of the plastic container had to be opened a certain way. So the owner gave my cousin and husband a rough time. I then took it down myself, the owner wasnt there and the man in charge said he couldnt over ride his boss. Now one might say let it alone but its the principal and i want people to know that they lie. I need my $51.97. I take people at their word. This owner needs to be brought down for taking advanage of someone who doesnt have the money to fight him. shame on you!!!!!"

A wonderful serenity has taken possession of my entire soul, like these sweet mornings of spring which I enjoy with my whole heart.

I am (not) alone, and I feel the charm of existence in this spot, which was created for the bliss of souls like mine...~ Goethe
