Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"Back in May of this year, I ordered a sample of skin cream from Rejuval Skin for $2.95 on March 5, 2014. They guaranteed that the necessary paperwork would be in the package with all the information to return and cancel the order.
All that I received in the envelope was the jar of facial cream. Around April 1, 2014, the amount of $97.28 was taken out of my account - then the same amount ($97.28) was taken out of my checking around May 1, 2014. I called the bank - they stated that it went to Rejuval Skin and gave me the 800 number to call. I immediately called the number and requested it be cancelled and a refund issued. The customer service representative stated that the product had already been mailed out. I received that product the next week and returned bothe the sample and the jar I just received. The two jars were returned around May 15, 2014 with a note requesting a refund of the full amount ($194.56) be mailed to me in the form of a check - I had closed out the original checking account for fear that they would charge me again. Since then I have sent a letter requesting a refund. I feel that I have given them ample time to process my refund. Neither jar had been used - the seal of the sample jar was broken to see the consistency of the cream. I can understand if they do not want to refund me for the sample since the seal was broken, but the newest jar was still sealed. I would at least appreciate a refund for one jar. Hopefully you can help me in the matter because everything that I have said or written to them has fell on deaf ears."
