Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"I was employed by the above company on 10-15-12 to perform a job that would be performed from my home office. I have the signed contract that includes the job description and pay terms. I was told I would be working a 30 day probation period for which I would be paid $2400/ month plus $200 for gas during this training/probation period. I would also be re-imbursed for any out-of-pocket expenses such as postal charges and shipping supplies ($65 during this period). At the end of my probation period, I was instructed to mail my tax documents and signed contract to a PO Box in San Dimas, CA. This envelope was returned in the mail and stamped "attempted, not know". At this point, I sent emails to payroll, human resources and my manager (Anna Katsen), but still have not received a response. I also called Anna's direct line, but never received an answer and voice mail was not set up. I also sent Anna a message via CHAT on the company website. No one will respond. I need to be paid and given an explanation as to what is going on."

  • This seems to be some sort of scam to get people to ship out items for them. I did a quick search and found a few people saying the same thing about this company. There are a few places you can complain to about this, however. You can contact The Federal Trade Commission at ftc.gov/complaint. Also contact your Attorney General, your local consumer protection agencies and local Better Business Bureau. Let each of these people know every detail about your complaint and they should be able to investigate into it. Good luck!

  • Unfortunately, it sounds like this may have been a scam, as there are several similar complaints currently about these organizations on a variety of websites. It seems this company is involved with shipping, and advertises to hire people to ship packages for a period of time, and then does not accept contact or contacts the person again. In order to protect yourself, you should contact your state’s attorney general’s office. If you had shipped anything on behalf of this company, you may not be aware of what your were shipping, and do not want to have any issues or trouble for yourself because of the association.
