Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"I was strong armed into a security system. The system was never connected. Protect America did not return calls. Now they attained a law firm to file a judgment against me for breech of contract. I never connected the service."

  • Thank you for the opportunity to resolve the complaint filed by Ms. Gloria Macias. Protect America has reviewed the account and calls in detail and the findings are; on the recorded sales call dated October 13, 2010, Ms. Macias purchased the alarm system with Protect America and she accepted the terms and conditions of the agreement by providing her verbal and electronic consent.
    On the recorded installations call dated November 7, 2010, she verified the equipment received and proceeded with the guided installation process.

    Ms. Macias stopped making payments on the account on April 1, 2012. Several attempts were made to contact her with regards to her account but were unsuccessful. Her account was eventually turned over to a third party collections company. At this time, Ms. Macias will need to contact MGI at phone number: 1(866) 629-0653 to resolve any future concerns.
