Mr. Bloomfield wants us to pay him $250.00 per hour for repairs that he performed to his own unit, that we never charged for. See details below. We received a request from Mr. Bloomfield to service his two air conditioning systems on 7/19/14. Our quote for the diagnostic was $149.00, when we performed that service we found one system had a defective circuit board. The customer declined to have us repair it. The second system was diagnosed with a burned wire. we repaired the wire at no additional charge due to it being a very simple repair. We received an invoice from Mr. Bloomfield for $910.43 on 8/25/14. This invoice was to pay Mr. Bloomfield $250.00 per hour to repair his own system. When I spoke to Mr. Bloomfield he said the system had stopped working after one week and he had decided to repair it himself instead of calling us. I explained our warranty would have taken care of that even though we had made the original repair at no charge. I offered to refund him the $149.00 we had charged for the diagnosis of both systems. Mr. Bloomfield said that was not necessary. On 9/18/14 I was told by Mr. Bloomfield that if I did not pay him the $910.43 he would start sending as many bad reviews as he possibly can. He explained that in the long run it would be much cheaper to pay him the $910.43. We declined to pay him. We will be more than happy to provide you with a copy of his invoice if needed.

PeopleClaim is a new way to resolve disputes online without lawyers or mediators. By inviting suggestions from the public, disputing parties get ideas that can lead to settlement – and the person(s) who contributed them can win a reward.
Here's what to do: Read the case (left side of page). Then go to the bottom of the page and enter your suggestion in the space provided. Click the Solution button.
Your suggestion will be sent to both parties and will post on the claim. If the two sides agree to settle based on your suggestion, you're eligible to win. Note: Cash rewards may be split among more than one person if settlement depends on ideas from more than one contributor. If you have a claim of your own to resolve, click here.
You can submit up to three solutions / rebuttal, you would like to settle or to be voted on.
