Claimant says:
"On November 5th 2017 I bought a English Bulldog from Petland Naperville. They charged me 5200 dollars for the dog and talked me into using there Petland credit card that I have been paying interest over the years on. I always noticed that he was small for his breed and seemed sick a lot of the time and I never thought anything of it considering my family and I love the dog. Early in the spring we noticed rapid weight loss in the dog so we took him to the vet. He was diagnosed with Chronic Luekemia. I tried to contact Petland of Naperville but I guess unless you are calling to buy a dog the don't wanna talk to you and was directed to Pet Solutions and Tara Gilligan who must be their third party insurance company so they don't have to deal with complaints. I faxed over all the vet bills and records I was given and a week later she responded by saying I would have to bring him to one of their recommended vets. I thought this was gonna be extra money spent but I did it because she made it sound like it would help my cause. After doing everything I was asked to do with their vet the answer was still the same that he has Luekemia. After a week passed by I emailed Tara asking the status on my claim and she responded by saying that at this time they feel its not their fault that I bought a dog from them and their breeder that has a rare but heriditary disease. This is a very shady practice in my opinion and when I read all their reviews online I am not surprised by their reaction to this. After everything is said and done I am going to be over 10 grand in this dog and all of the doctor bills and am only asking them to do the right thing but if I am writing you they won't even do that. I hope you can help me out and make them do the write thing. If they are doing this to me then I would assume they answer to everyone is pay top dollar for our dogs and good luck. I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you
