Claimant says:
"We first saw a sales Demo at a Home Show in March 2009. We set up an appointment with a salesperson (Justin Freeman) for the Night of April 6, 2009, and after the sales pitch for the HR40 windows we decided that this would help us cut the energy bills down by saving money and we agreeed to purchase the windows.
The windows were to be installed in August 2009. The person who measured the final installation measurment called us on somewhere around April 15th and said "The factory needed the business", the windows were ready a week later, we were surprised and questioned this before we had the financing in place but were told not to worry that all was OK, so we proceeded.
When I recieved a call from Carmel Financing about the loan I did not know Peoples Products disclosed the whole amount of the windows due to not being able to get one Bank to finance the whole thing. When Pattie from Peoples called me she asked me why I disclosed this information I stated I was just being honest.
We had windows installed in Late April 2009, without having total financing through as of yet.
We were told by the salesperson and salesmanager that the windows would have a guarentee being prorated because we did not replace the slider.
Now they will not even give us the time of day. Our slider had just been replaced by my husband and we have all the info on it. Since the windows have been in for a year we have not seen any of the savings they said we would have.
Even with the temperature change that there has not been any savings. We also tried to give Peoples products the specs on the door but they refuse to look at anything. We stateded this through the BBB website."

  • Very displeased with this place. Leaking, 2 fogged windows. Over paid. No customer service. Rude. Regret not doing my homework on this company. :(

  • Everybody that has ever done business with People's Products should follow this persons lead. You all were ripped off for $1,000's of dollars by Owner Bill Wilson.

There is NO substantive facts surrounding any claim of the windows not performing as advertised. They owe Peoples Products money for the windows and are simply trying to get out of paying for it.
