Claimant says:
"One Solar came to me with what looked like an ecological possibility. I signed with them, unwisely in October of 2014. I thought I knew what the cost would be and the savings on electric bills made this look reasonable. Nothing happened for months until I started getting bills from Green Sky , a loan company in Atlanta , Georgia. Then I finally saw that the cost would more than double what I had expected, 2 loans. I decided that I could not afford that. I called One solar to cancel, and they were not happy, telling me that they'd gotten permits, measured my roof, planned for my panels, none of which could be used elsewhere. I thought this was not true, that the panels could surely be used elsewhere. I contacted Green Sky and found them very cooperative. They immediately cancelled the second loan but had already forwarded the first one for $7587. to One Solar and then told them to return the money. I got two letters from Green Sky in March of 2015 telling me the loan was cancelled and I owe nothing. One Solar has refused to return any money so I've been getting statements from Green Sky since mid 2015. I talked to a lady there several times who told me that they consider One Solar unethical and would not do business with them again. I have not had a recent conversation with either company but called Green Sky last week and will call again since the lady who'd been so helpful before was out. No interest has yet been charged on the loan but will be added, something around $1600. or more, on May 11. I can see my paying One Solar for permits, but it doesn't seem right for me to pay this whole loan when I've received nothing from them. I am now 81 as of last week and this feels like elder abuse. I had just given up fighting for a while but knew I could not just let this go. I'm also in mourning for my daughter who passed away the Sunday before Christmas. I would greatly appreciate your help in this matter. I've thought about contacting a lawyer, but there goes more money. Sincerely, Marilyn L. Knox PS I do not know how to attach a file."
