Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"My name is Charles EAZOR , I WENT TO THE VERIZON STORE IN NEW CASTLE, PA I SPOKE WITH NICOLE THAT WAS A SALESPERSON. MY WIFE HAD CALLED PRIOR TO MY VISIT AND TOLD HER WE WERE OPENING A BUSINESS AND NEEDED TO CONNECT A CHARGE CARD MACHINE. SHE SAID SHE HAD JUST WHAT WE NEEDED . WE ASKED HER AT LEAST TEN TMES IF SHE WAS SURE THIS MODEL THAT WE WERE TO PURCHASE AND SIGN A CONTRACT WOULD DEFINATELY WORK, SHE SAID ABSOLUTELY AND QUARANTEED US IT WOULD. I THEN WENT TO THE STORE TO MAKE THE PURCHASE, WHICH AGAIN I TOLD HER WE DIDNT WANT A PHONE JUST A CONNECTION FOR A CHARGE CARD MACHINE. AGAIN SHE SWORE THIS WAS THE DEVICE I NEEDED. I MADE THE PURCHASE AFTER TAKING HER WORD FOR IT.. I HAD MY TECH COME TO SET THIS UP FOR ME AND HE SAID THIS WAS DEFINATELY NOT USED FOR THIS PURPOSE . IN THE MANUEL IT SAID NOT COMPATIBLE WITH A CHARGE CARD MACHINE. HE HAD ALSO HEARD HE TELL US IT WAS THE CORRECT DEVICE. WHEN MY WIFE CALLED TO TELL HER THAT SHE SOLD US THE WRONG ITEM, SHE FLATELY LIED AND SAID SHE DIDNT SAY THAT.. SHE CONTINUED TO LIE. NOW I AM STUCK IN A CONTRACT FOR TWO YRS. WITH A MAGIC JACK. THATS WHAT WE FINALLY FIGURED OUT SHE SOLD US. WE HAVE ASKED FOR HER SUPERVISOR TO CALL US SHE FLATELY REFUSES. SHE SHOULD DEFINETLY TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR HER ACTIONS. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME SHE HAS LIED TO A CUSTOMER. WE HEARD MANY STORIES FROM OTHER PEOPLE. SHE REFUSES TO GIVE US THE NUMBER OF HER SUPERVISOR OR HAVE ANY ONE CALL US. I SPENT A 105.00 FOR THIS DEVICE PLUS NOW HAVE A TWO YEAR CONTRACT AND HAVE NO USE FOR THIS, I THINK THIS WAS VERY POOR SERVICE ON HER BEHALF TO NOT BACK UP THE MISTAKE SHE MADE. I AM GOING TO CONTACT THE ATTORNEY GENERAL ALSO."
