"I am a member of the BBB and own the Americas Best Value Inn in York NE. I have recently found out that the New Victorian Inn is paying an individual to drive through our parking lot and take telephone numbers from the car doors and calling our guests. This is an invasion of privacy. I feel this is dirty business. Please help

  • I disagree with the explanation / grounds provided

    "If this 'owner' thinks none of the other area hospitality properties do not 'look' at who is in town they are not real business people. Vehicles with names, addresses, and phone numbers want their number to be called for jobs or for saving money. If our property gets more guests, maybe it is because our property is nicer and offers more amenities for relatively the same price. Trespassing and stealing should be physically documented with evidence before being put in print anywhere, even this site. Slander is an actual litigable action, while hearsay is not. Be careful what you ask for."
