Claimant's opinion: I feel taken advantage of and robbed by this company. And as it stands right now, I don't even know what to do next. But the stress of this company has caused me high blood pressure which lead to an anxiety attack. What they are trying to do to me and my family, does not sit well with me at all. Nothing is free in life and I never agreed to give them $35 dollars for nothing in return.
Claimant's opinion: At one point, my husband tried to find us the answers we were looking for. So he was speaking with them on the phone. A net10 representative yelled at him and hung up on him. He would not let my husband fully explain or speak a word. He was so rude and untrained.
Claimant's opinion: They mentioned at one point that their sim cards are distributed randomly. And are made to run off of different providing network towers. Such as- net10 using AT&T and Teen Mobile towers. We were never informed that the phone would use other network towers. If I had known that, I would have never bought the phone in the first place because I know from past experience, that I do not have any Teen Mobile tower, near my home. I would have known that the phone would be defective for my location and I wouldn't have even bothered.
Claimant's opinion: I definitely spoke to about 12-15 different representatives. 5 of which claimed to be a supervisor of some sort. None of them spoke clear and all of them seemed to just read off of a paper that included 3 different scripts. No matter what i tried to say or explain to any of them, they all went back to what they were suppose to be saying. So it really didn't feel like I was speaking with someone at all. It honestly seems like none of them wanted or cared to help, or they just didn't know how to. Which ever the case, it's bad for business. Because on top of wanting my money back, I am finishing out the services I have with them on my first phone. And will now have to seek a provider else where for 2 phones. But I will be needing that $35 dollars back to have towards that expense. Unfortunately, having a phone is not a luxury for myself or my husband. It is a must.
Claimant's opinion: This phone does not work in my location, net10 still took my money for service yet fails to provide that and now they refuse to give me my money back.
Claimant's opinion: Net10 does not inform people of a 24 hour "waiting process" for the cell phone to completely activate. I have another cell phone from them that I currently use. This new purchase was suppose to be for my husband. In case of an emergency and I have to reach him. I have a child with a medical condition so it's become very important to secure a second line. When I activated my first phone from net10, everything went smoothly. The phone was activated right away and the service card was accepted fine. So I purchased this phone believing it works very easily. They also did not disclose anywhere in their phone guide or website, that service cards purchased through a third party or Point Of Sale (POS) vendor, would be nonrefundable. I don;t understand why, if they are telling me that they get to keep my money for nothing, then I understand why this is the first time I'm hearing about this policy. I've never seen it in reading though.
"Net10 is the worst phone provider that I've ever had to deal with! They use different network towers for their sim cards that are distributed randomly. I couldn't even go more then 5 miles from my home without having issues with missed calls. Or issues with the picture messages. They do not speak clear English and will pass you around to different departments. All telling you something different then what the last person said. They'll take your money from the service card you buy but, they don't provide you service. And refuse to refund or help address issues. The are like robots reading off of a paper and have no clue how to right their wrong. Completely incompetent."
