Claimant says:
"I was contacted by the MRA Group guaranteeing me I could refinance my home for a lower rate of interest. The cost would be $673.41 per month for 4 months. This was requested by Cashiers Check or Money Order only. I filled out the paper work and paid the 4 months.
The end of June, Jesse Grace their representative, had the completed paper work she needed and would forward this to Colonial Mortgage, Fort Worth, Tx. I waited to hear from them until the middle of August at which time I called Colonial. I was informed they had no information from MRA and they had a cease and dissist letter from then. They were unable to contact me due to this letter. I have called MRA, faxed letters, emailed, and mailed letters to them to get them to contact me and have had no results. I am 74 years old and live on a fixed income from Social Security and need to get this cleared up for financial reasons"

  • Due to the non response from the MRA group I have had to hire another attorney and my house is in foreclosure. The MRA sent a cease and dissest letter to the mortgage company, that is why they never contacted me and this went on for 3 months before I called them to find out how my refinance was going on. I will have more expense than calculated due to this procedure. The email address I have for them is customarecare@themragroup.org

  • I have since been notified that my home went into forclosure on July 31, 2014 due to the MRA not sending information to my mortgage company. The final total I was charged was, in addition to the $2999.61, is $4435.28 in lawyer fees. The final total I need is 10,235.00 to save my home. Consumers beware of this company they are a scam
