Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"On 8/15/2011 I shipped my Vw transmission to Mofoco to be rebuilt. Was told it would take 4 weeks to rebuild by Randy Henning the owner off the business, it also says on there web site it says "All rebuilt transmission currentlly take four weeks to be rebuilt & shipped". On 9/7/11 they debted my sears card for 1075.00. After months of phone calls and being told waiting on a part and got wrong part this went on till 12/30/11. We went to detectives in jesup ga. who called them an made them ship my transmission to a company in Daytona where it was repaired an shipped back to me in two weeks. Daytona charged my Sears card on 1/24/12 1121.98 to rebuild transmission. When the detective spoke to Randy and made them shipp trans because they refused to ship it to Daytona for Per my request Randy the owner told the detective he would refund my money, which he never did. I had to get my Sears my credit card company to dispute tha charges. Mofoco did refund my card 500.00. I did a second dispute but sears said they can only depute for 120 days. I called Mofoco a second time on 2/29/12 and asked for the 575.00 they still owe me they refuss to pay. When Datona recieved trans the ony thing Mofoco had done to the trans was break it down. No repairs or parts had been replaced and no repairs where done. I was lied to over and over for months with no satisfaction what so ever. Therefore I feel they took advantage of me and my husband. They lied from the beginning to us and they did'nt honer what Randy Hening the owner and there website promisses which is to rebuild an have back in 4 weeks. I feel we should get the remaining 575.00 credited to my Sears card. Bad business practices and no respect and all they did was lie to us for months. I don't feel i should pay twice, when the only parts needed was a rebuilt kit. There in the rebuild business so they should have a rebuid kit. My husband even gave theme the number to daytona to order the parts they never could get."
