Claimant says:
"On 12/6/15 I purchased a 9 week old Yorkie puppy from Puppy Dot Dog at the Auburndale Flea Market paid 700.00 dollars cash. On 12/7/15 took him to the Vet. for a checkup he seemed okay but not very lively like puppies are but I thought it was the change in environment . My Husband and I fell in love with him. 12/9/15 took him to the Vet. again he was very lethargic he was treated and sent home. On 12/11/15 he was very sick took him to the Vet. they immediatly transfered him to a emergency animal clinic. They kept him over night, and called us to pick him up that afternoon 12/12/15 told us to feed him every 4-6 hours with a syringe. Last feeding was at 1:30 a.m. Sunday 12/13/15 . I fell asleep holding him in my arms in a chair when I awoke he had passed away. Broke my heart. I called the person I bought him from he said he would check into it after we brought in all the Vet bills.
Took the papers to him 12/13/15 in the afternoon he said he would get back to us in a few days and maybe offer us another puppy of equal value. but when he called back all he would offer is us to buy another puppy with fifty percent off. He said he was not responsible.
I'm sorry but a healthy puppy should not die in less than a week.
Please do not buy a puppy there. My cousin bought one the same day I did and he had infection with ear mites they had to take him to the Vet. the next day.
I hope this is a warning to beware We spent over 1500.00 including cost of puppy trying to keep that puppy alive.
His name was Dusty. We only had him less then a week but we still mourn him.
I believe we deserve something for all the heart ache we went through.
If anyone else has had a problem with Mike please post it on the internet.
Don't let Dusty have died in vain."
