Statement of Claim
Claimant says:
"purchased a 08 Chevrolet Silverado from them in Sept. 2015. along with the vehicle I purchased a level 3 extended warranty from Miles Edge covering the vehicle for 3 years or 30,000 miles. On Oct. 11th 2015 I took it into my local Firestone to purchase a life time front end alignment and was told then I will need to have the wheel bearings done at some point. On June 1st 2016 I took the vehicle in to my local Chevy dealer due to a noise I was hearing in the front end. they informed me the wheel bearings were a bad and contacted the warranty company who sent an investigator out to conform this before they would agree to pay for it. the investigator did confirm this along with a few other things wrong with the vehicle, however it was then I was told that they were canceling the warranty on the vehicle and that the dealership will be returning a full refund do to the fact they never should have sold me the warranty with the lift kit the vehicle had on it. I have tried to contact a manager of the dealership since Monday June 6th the only person that has been in contact with me is their shop manager Bruce. no one else will call me back. when Bruce did contact me he asked if he could go down the street to where the truck was at and look at it himself because he found it had to believe both bearings were out. Did not want to really address the warranty being pulled. I do not want the dealership I bought the vehicle from having any part in fixing my truck this is why I did not take it to them. I do not trust them at all do to the fact several of the things wrong with the vehicle tell me they were there when I purchased it and they had informed me it had gone through a safety inspection then. Bruce told me the only thing they will do is take the vehicle to their shop fix what needs to be fixed and then sell me a pro rated warranty after giving it another safety inspection. However the warranty I purchased would have covered it all and I could take it where I wanted that worked with that warranty company. I have been without a vehicle at this point for 12 days and not driving it due to the fact there is no warranty on it at this point. I just want what I agreed to under contract when I purchased the vehicle or I want them to let me take it where I want and get it all fixed and have another warranty put on it that will cover it all. no one other then their shop manager will call me back and I have called and left messages just about every day finally my wife went in there while I was at work and a manager named D was sitting in there and told her we had to only deal with the shop manager Bruce if we want this resolved and he doesn't work weekends my days off. I never would have purchased this vehicle without a warranty."
